Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care across a 16-suite OR handling approximately 30 cases per day
- Support a wide range of surgical specialties including General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics
- Participate in call rotation, with an expected approximately 120 call hours per contract, shared in rotation with staff
- Adhere to a 30-minute call response time requirement
- Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
- May be asked to float within the designated zone in cases of extreme staffing need
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado
- BLS certification required
- Trauma and Neuro experience required
- Must be present in state for the full week of orientation, even if initial modules are conducted remotely
- Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; valid driver's license must be submitted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
- Experience across multiple surgical specialties including Spine, Ortho, and Robotics
