Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care in an active operating room environment during overnight hours
- Support urgent and emergent surgical add-on cases as the primary function of the night shift
- Collaborate with the surgical team across up to 2 operational overnight ORs within an 8-OR facility
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
- Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November) as directed by facility leadership
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina RN License or Compact Nursing License (SC license must be active prior to start date)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a pediatric clinical setting
- Minimum 2 prior travel nurse contract assignments
- Radiation badge required — must be provided through candidate's parent staffing company
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in pediatric and/or women's surgery
- Familiarity with urgent and emergent OR case management in a fast-paced overnight environment
