Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in an Operating Room setting across assigned shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
Maintain on-call availability with a 30-minute response time requirement
Float to other units as needed to support staffing requirements
Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
May provide care for COVID-positive patients
Adhere to facility policies including a strict tobacco-free and fragrance-free environment
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — no license encumbrances accepted
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
EPIC experience required
Must be available to work at least 1–2 major holidays per contract period (Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day)
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
Strong proficiency with EPIC charting is heavily preferred
Experience working in high-acuity or fast-paced surgical environments
Flexibility and adaptability to variable scheduling demands including call, weekends, and holidays
