Key Responsibilities
Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a busy Operating Room environment at a regional medical facility
Assist with and support robotic-assisted surgical procedures utilizing DaVinci Xi, Mako, and Rosa equipment
Perform scrub and/or circulating roles across a variety of surgical specialties including orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, and spine cases
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC electronic medical records system
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols throughout all phases of perioperative care
Fulfill on-call, callback, and holiday scheduling requirements as determined by unit needs
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 24 months of current Operating Room nursing experience
Proficient experience with DaVinci robotics and Mako or Rosa robotic equipment
Proficient experience in orthopedic surgery including total joints and general surgery
Spine surgery experience within the previous 12 months
Travel nursing experience within the previous 15 months
Active Iowa RN license or active Compact/Multistate RN license at time of submission
Current BLS certification from AHA (American Heart Association) or ARC (American Red Cross)
Proficient experience with EPIC EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
Scrub technician or scrub RN experience in the Operating Room
Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months
