Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | 3 x 12-hour shifts per week; on-call as required | No block scheduling available
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Provide explanations and instructions to patients and/or responsible parties
- Apply nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records and meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care
- Contribute to a healthy workplace environment through professional communication and conflict management
Required Qualifications
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Operating Room clinical experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a perioperative or surgical services setting
- Familiarity with recovery room or procedural care environments
- Participation in continuing education and professional development activities
