Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care to patients in an acute care operating room setting
- Participate in on-call rotation, including weekday call coverage from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM as assigned per rotation schedule
- Work every approximately 4th weekend with weekday coverage as determined by staffing needs
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including like units as required
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records system
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of Operating Room RN experience
- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Ability to participate in on-call and weekend rotation as needed
- Willingness to be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Prior travel nursing experience in an OR setting
