Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care within the Operating Room setting across the full scope of practice
- Participate in on-call rotation; weekday call hours are 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM as assigned per call rotation schedule
- Cover weekend shifts as needed, typically every 4th weekend with weekday coverage depending on staffing
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, including like units, as required
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Be prepared to participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Comfort with on-call responsibilities and flexible scheduling demands
- Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers accepted
