Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an acute care Operating Room setting across assigned shifts
- Adhere to facility scheduling policies, including rotation of every other weekend and holidays alongside permanent hospital staff
- Participate in a variable call schedule as required by the facility
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe, efficient perioperative patient care
- Document patient care activities accurately using the facility's electronic health record system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience
- MEDITECH electronic health record experience required
- Ability to comply with facility dress code (Navy Blue scrubs for RNs)
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a surgical or perioperative environment
- Familiarity with large acute care hospital settings and high-volume OR departments
