Job TitleRegistered Nurse - Outpatient Surgery

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM with Variable Call Schedule | Every other weekend and holidays in rotation | Projected Start: November 3, 2026
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care across Outpatient Services areas including Pre-Op, Phase 2 Recovery, Preadmission Testing (PAT), and Infusion Center
- Maintain patient ratios appropriate to care area: Pre-Op 1:1, Phase 2 3-5:1, Infusion 5:1
- Assist anesthesia providers with nerve blocks and other procedural support
- Participate in a variable call schedule as required by facility policy
- Document patient care accurately using the facility's EMR system (Meditech experience strongly recommended)
- Work collaboratively within a team-oriented unit culture to deliver excellent patient care
Required Qualifications- Active RN license eligible for practice in the state of Florida
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
- Prior experience in at least one of the following: Pre-Op, Phase 2 Recovery, Infusion, or Preadmission Testing (PAT) - candidates without this experience will not be considered
- Ability to fulfill a variable call schedule and rotate weekends and holidays per facility policy
Preferred Experience / Skills- Endoscopy (ENDO) experience preferred
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR - candidates unfamiliar with the system may experience a significant learning curve
- Experience working in a high-volume outpatient surgical environment
