Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a main operating room setting
- Support and participate in Trauma, Neuro, and Orthopedic surgical cases
- Fulfill call rotation requirements, including two to three 12-hour weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) per six-week schedule, covering both day and overnight call windows
- Participate in a weekly on-call shift with the expectation of remaining up to two hours beyond the standard shift end to cover cases that extend past scheduled hours (compensated as on-call time)
- Assist with holiday call coverage as needed when holidays fall on weekdays
Required Qualifications
- Active Idaho Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Demonstrated experience in Trauma, Neuro, and Orthopedic surgical specialties
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma center operating room environment
- Ability to adapt to varied surgical specialties and fast-paced case loads
