Travel RN – Operating Room (Neuro/Spine)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | 4x10 shifts, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | On-call required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a Main OR setting with a focus on Neuro/Spine cases
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in a 24-bed OR environment
- Operate and assist with OR equipment and instrumentation in accordance with facility protocols
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
- Participate in on-call responsibilities as required by the unit
- Adhere to facility dress code standards, including navy scrubs and restrictions on nail polish, T-shirts, fleece jackets, and hooded garments
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in Alabama or compact state eligibility
- BLS certification required
- NIH certification required
- Minimum 2+ years of OR nursing experience
- Demonstrated experience in General Surgery and Orthopedics
- Recent, hands-on Epic EMR experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Da Vinci Robotic surgical system
- Experience with Maxillofacial (MaxFace) surgical procedures
- Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care OR setting
