Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Days | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | Every other weekend coverage and call required (1 night/week, 1 weekend/month)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform RN Circulator duties across a 7-room OR suite serving all patient age groups
- Provide circulating support for a wide range of surgical specialties including General, GYN, Vascular, Ortho, Urology, Podiatry, and da Vinci Robotic Surgery
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in accordance with facility standards within a Level III Trauma designated facility
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EHR system
- Participate in on-call rotation including 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
- Float interdepartmentally as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure valid for practice in West Virginia
- ACLS certification required prior to start
- BLS certification required prior to start
- NIH certification required prior to start
- Minimum 2+ years of OR circulating experience
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience as both an OR Scrub and Circulator
- Proficiency circulating in multiple surgical specialties including da Vinci Robotic, Vascular, and Orthopedic procedures
- Familiarity with Meditech or comparable EHR platforms
- Professional demeanor with ability to adapt in a high-volume surgical environment
