    Contract | Days | Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide perioperative nursing care across a 6-suite OR and 2-suite GI environment, supporting approximately 12 cases per day
    • Assist with a wide range of surgical procedures including total joints, ORIFs, tendon repairs, hernia, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, robotic bowel resection, endoscopic sinus surgery, and pediatric tonsil and adenoid cases
    • Fulfill weeknight call requirements one night per week (from case end until 6:30 AM the following morning) and rotating weekend call every 3rd to 4th weekend
    • Work the majority of holidays during the winter season as expected of travel clinicians
    • Respond to call within 30 minutes when required
    • Occasionally float to other departments (ED, Med-Surg, or LTC) as needed and based on comfort level
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure
    • ACLS certification required
    • BLS certification required
    • Minimum 3 years of OR experience
    • Prior travel nursing experience required
    • Proficiency with Cerner EMR
    • Must live at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible as a non-local candidate
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in general surgery, orthopedic (total joints), and robotics
    • GI procedure experience preferred
    • Scrubbing experience preferred, though not required
    • Ophthalmology/cataract experience a plus (facility is willing to train)
