Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | On-Site | 14-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate across a high-volume OR environment with an estimated 25 cases per day across multiple surgical specialties
- Circulate all orthopedic cases, including arthroscopies and total joints — strong orthopedic experience is essential
- Provide perioperative nursing care for a diverse patient population spanning pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Support surgical cases across general, gynecology, orthopedics, cystoscopy, ophthalmology, ENT, podiatry, and limited vascular, neuro, and thoracic procedures
- Participate in call coverage on both weekdays and weekends as required
- Participate in holiday rotation as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- Strong orthopedic OR experience required — must be able to circulate arthroscopies and total joint cases
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Cerner or Epic electronic documentation systems
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification preferred
- Cerner documentation experience preferred
- Experience across multiple surgical specialties including GYN, ENT, ophthalmology, podiatry, vascular, neuro, or thoracic
- First-time travelers with 2–3 years of OR experience will be considered
