Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within an orthopedic-focused operating room environment
- Support surgical teams during orthopedic, joint, and neurological procedures
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required throughout surgical cases
- Maintain patient safety and sterile field integrity throughout all operative procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure efficient surgical workflow
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Demonstrated experience in an Operating Room setting
- Strong orthopedic surgical nursing skills, including joint procedures
- Experience supporting neurological surgical cases
- Current BLS certification; ACLS may be required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CNOR certification or active pursuit of certification
- Experience in a high-volume or academic medical center OR environment
- Familiarity with orthopedic instrumentation and implant systems
