Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an operating room/surgical setting throughout the perioperative process
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required during surgical procedures
• Monitor and assess patient condition before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Adhere to facility holiday scheduling expectations, including working 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Operating Room specialty
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or acute care surgical environment
• Familiarity with a variety of surgical specialties and procedures
• Strong ability to adapt to varying schedules and surgical team needs
