    Job Title

    Travel RN – Operating Room / Surgery (Night Shift)

    Location

    Asheville, North Carolina

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (8:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: September 7, 2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a high-volume operating room environment with a 1:1 patient ratio
    • Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a broad range of surgical service lines including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma
    • Utilize electronic documentation systems (Cerner) to accurately record patient care activities
    • Adhere to a variable schedule with on-call requirements as needed
    • Float to other departments in accordance with facility floating policy
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
    • Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
    • Skill level of 3 or higher in Joint, Neuro, Ortho, and Vascular – no exceptions
    • Broad surgical knowledge across multiple service lines
    • Proficiency with Cerner or comparable electronic health record documentation system
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in robotic-assisted surgical procedures
    • Background in burn and trauma surgical cases
    • Familiarity with high-acuity, large hospital operating room environments
