Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room setting
• Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting
• Participate in on-call coverage as needed for call-offs only
• Float to like units within scope as needed to meet facility demands
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska RN license in hand at time of submission (compact license accepted if valid and in hand)
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience required; 2 years preferred
• BLS certification required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Must commit to all requested time off being submitted upfront at time of submittal
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• 2 professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
• Prior experience in a Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma facility
