Description
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in an Operating Room setting within an acute hospital environment
Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required per unit needs
Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
Float to like units within the hospital or affiliate facilities as needed to meet staffing requirements
Participate in on-call coverage for call-offs as required
Work a minimum of 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's)
Required Qualifications
Active Alaska RN License required (pending license accepted for submission; license must be in hand prior to offer)
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
BLS certification required
First-time travelers not accepted; prior travel experience required
Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
Epic charting experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
ACLS certification preferred
CNOR certification preferred
Experience in a Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma facility
