    Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room

    Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Start Time: 6:30 AM – End Time: 5:00 PM | Three 12-hour shifts per week (weekends preferred) | On-call required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Serve as patient advocate in the circulator role while acting as a resource for the sterile field
    • Perform circulating and/or scrub duties across a variety of surgical specialties including Total Joints, multi-level spine fusions, and robotic-assisted cases (GYN, Colorectal, General)
    • Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within an 11-OR suite environment
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary OR team including RNs, scrub techs, and surgical support techs
    • Participate in on-call rotation, averaging 5–6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift per 8-week sign-up period
    • Document accurately using Epic EMR
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Alaska RN license (required at time of submission)
    • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
    • Experience in Orthopedics, Total Joints, Neurosurgery, and Robotics
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
    • Ability and willingness to take on-call shifts including weekends
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in both circulator and scrub roles
    • Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification
    • Positive, team-oriented attitude with flexibility across surgical specialties
