Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care within a high-acuity operating room environment
- Support surgical teams across cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular procedures
- Fulfill on-call requirements as needed per unit scheduling
- Adhere to weekend rotation commitment of 1 in 3 weekends
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of New York (or compact equivalent accepted)
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- Strong demonstrated experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgical specialties
- Candidates from ineligible local counties are not accepted for this position — this is a travel opportunity only
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a large, high-volume acute care or academic medical center setting
- Comfort with on-call scheduling and flexible shift demands
- Familiarity with multiple surgical service lines within a single OR department
