    Registered Nurse – Operating Room

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide perioperative nursing care across a high-volume OR environment with 19 suites and approximately 55–60 cases per day
    • Support a full-service surgical program including ortho/neuro, cardio/thoracic, robotics, and trauma-level cases (excluding major pediatrics, transplants, and C-sections in the main OR)
    • Participate in on-call rotation, including specialty call teams for ortho/neuro and cardio/thoracic with a 30-minute call response time
    • Rotate holiday coverage in coordination with permanent staff; flexibility with scheduling is expected
    • Document accurately using Meditech EMR
    • Demonstrate basic competency across nearly all surgical service lines
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license valid in the state of Georgia
    • BLS and ACLS certifications required
    • Minimum 2–3 years of Operating Room experience
    • Proficiency in Meditech EMR
    • Skills checklist must accurately reflect experience level; a rating of 3 must indicate true proficiency
    • Must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible (verified by address on driver's license)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Scrubbing experience preferred (not required for RNs)
    • Experience in a high-volume, full-service surgical environment
    • Familiarity with specialty service lines including robotics, ortho/neuro, and cardio/thoracic
