Shift Type: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 40 hours guaranteed; weekend and on-call schedules determined by facility

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for surgical patients across a variety of specialties
- Deliver expert nursing care throughout the perioperative process, including GYN, bariatric, vascular, orthopedic, neuro, and plastic surgeries
- Implement and evaluate nursing interventions, adjusting care plans to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
- Document all nursing care accurately and in compliance with organizational policies and professional standards
- Exercise sound clinical judgment and specialized knowledge to safely coordinate care for patients of all ages
- Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a safe operating environment and ensure seamless procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent General OR experience
- Hands-on experience with GYN, bariatric, vascular, orthopedic, neuro, and plastic surgeries
- Previous travel experience
- Active Maryland RN license (or willingness to obtain)
- Current AHA BLS certification
- COVID-19 vaccination required (no declinations accepted)
- No scheduling restrictions; flexible availability to work the facility's schedule
- Willingness to complete mandatory 48-hour compliance if offered
