Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $3,251 per week in Madison, WI

Job Opportunity – Pediatric OR Registered Nurse – Wisconsin

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, 0700-1730, Monday through Friday with weeknight on-call (1x per week, Monday-Thursday), weekend on-call (1x every 6-8 weekends), and holiday on-call as operationally needed

Highlights:

• Pediatric operating room experience with ambulatory OR and pediatric trauma background required
• Kidney transplant experience strongly preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Level I and Level II trauma center experience required
• Magnet-designated facility providing comprehensive pediatric surgical care
• 32 hours of orientation provided; two pre-approved time-off requests allowed

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact state RN license
• BLS certification (AHA only) required; PALS required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care pediatric OR experience within the last 3 years
• Pediatric OR, ambulatory OR, and pediatric trauma experience mandatory
• Must successfully pass telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to start
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Floating to other units as needed is required
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
