The role involves working with various specialties including General Surgery, Bariatrics, ENT, Client, Orthopedic, and Urology. The nurse will assist with special procedures such as total joints, spine surgeries, craniotomies, and free flaps. The position requires a commitment to effective communication and teamwork within the surgical team. The nurse will also participate in on-call duties and weekend shifts as scheduled. Contributing to patient education and care planning is an essential part of this role. The individual will be expected to uphold the highest standards of patient safety and care. Documentation and adherence to policies and procedures are crucial for this position. A strong foundation of nursing skills within the Operating Room is vital for success. The candidate must be adaptable and capable of managing varying patient needs efficiently.
