Job Opportunity – Operating Room Nurse (OR RN) – Pennsylvania

Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 13-week assignment with weekend coverage included
Highlights:
- Work in a Level I Trauma facility with exposure to complex surgical cases including cardiac, liver transplant, craniotomies, spinal procedures, and ortho fractures
- Both scrub and circulate responsibilities across multiple OR services
- Float between multiple locations to support diverse surgical programs
- Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
- No on-call or holiday requirements
- Scrubs provided; 40-hour orientation program included
Requirements:
- Active state nursing license (RN)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Level I Trauma certification required; Trauma Level 1 course and certificate preferred
- Minimum 3 years of recent OR experience required
- Previous charge nurse experience required
- Demonstrated competency in both scrub and circulate roles (scrub experience is mandatory)
- Experience with cardiac surgery, liver transplant, craniotomies, and spinal cases required
- Level I Trauma experience required; Level II Trauma experience preferred
- Ortho fracture experience is a plus
- Ability to care for diverse patient populations including infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
- Must meet all facility-specific compliance requirements including flu vaccination, background checks, and state-specific credentialing
