TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified OR RN in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19141!

Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Pennsylvania

Start Date: November 2026

Location: Pennsylvania

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Flexible scheduling options available including two 8-hour shifts (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM) and two 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM). One worked weekend required per schedule period. On-call responsibilities include 6 weekday shifts maximum per 6-week schedule period and 2 weekend on-call shifts. Summer and winter holiday coverage required.

Highlights:
  • Level I Trauma Center experience with high-acuity surgical cases including liver and kidney transplant procedures
  • Diverse case mix including orthopedic, neurosurgery, vascular, and trauma procedures
  • Both scrub and circulator responsibilities across multiple surgical specialties
  • Electronic medical record system: Cerner
  • 40 hours of comprehensive orientation provided
  • May float to GI unit or affiliated surgery center as needed
  • 14 operating rooms with a daily census of approximately 30 cases
Requirements:
  • Active Pennsylvania RN license or compact state license required at time of application
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required
  • Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room experience required
  • Minimum 2-3 years of Level I Trauma Center experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers cannot be considered)
  • Previous charge nurse experience required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in both scrub and circulator roles strongly preferred
  • Experience with trauma cases including gunshot/stab wounds and multi-system trauma from motor vehicle accidents
  • Proficiency in specialized procedures including orthopedic surgeries, spinal fusions, vascular procedures, and craniotomies
