Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Operating Room – Pennsylvania
Start Date: November 30, 2026
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM; weekend call required (approximately 2 weekend call rotations per contract); weekday call approximately 6 shifts; floating required based on facility needs
Highlights
- High-acuity Level I Trauma Center with a 14-room Operating Room serving adult and geriatric surgical patients
- Diverse surgical case mix including General OR, Neuro, Orthopedic, Vascular, and Transplant procedures
- Experience with complex cases such as craniotomy, spinal fusion, total joint replacement, vascular bypass, Whipple procedures, and trauma cases including gunshot/stab wounds and MVA
- Charting system: Cerner EMR
- Scrubs provided by the facility
- 40-hour comprehensive orientation program
Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required
- Level I trauma experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Previous charge nurse experience required
- Strong clinical experience required in: Total joint replacement (hip/knee), Neuro procedures (spinal fusion, craniotomy, laminectomy/discectomy), Transplant cases, Vascular procedures (carotid, AV fistula, femoral-popliteal bypass, AAA repair), General Surgery (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, laparoscopic surgery, thyroidectomy, Whipple)
- Certifications required: BLS, TNCC
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Must complete PA fingerprinting and childline clearance within 1 week of contract signing
- Must complete required labs within 48 hours of contract signing
