Specializing in ortho surgeries, the role involves working in a Level III Trauma Center with a highly collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities of the RN - OR- Operating Room- Assist in surgeries involving Ortho Spine, Hand/Podiatry, and Total Joints using specialized equipment like the Hanna Table
- Manage patient care for neuro/ENT cases including laminectomies, cranial surgeries, and endoscopic procedures
- Coordinate with the anesthesia team and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
- Float to general OR specialties and urology center as needed
- Adhere to safety and procedural standards in compliance with facility regulations
Requirements of the RN - OR- Operating Room- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a related field
- Proficiency with EMR: EPIC and equipment like Alaris IV Pumps and Pyxis
- Strong background in ortho and neuro/ENT procedures
