Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years with scrub and circulate experience in cardiac, hepatobiliary, robotic, spine, and ophthalmology services. License: CA RN Licensure Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Scrub and circulate experience in cardiac procedures. Description: Provides direct and indirect patient care to clinic patients and their families utilizing the nursing processes of comprehensive patient assessment. Develops and implements nursing care plans and patient education. Conducts ongoing evaluation to deliver holistic and individualized care to all patients in the assigned area. Develops and coordinates an optimal interdisciplinary plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors. Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their families, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communication. Supervises and supports patient care staff in surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Participates in training and educational activities to enhance nursing skills and knowledge. Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient care in accordance with established standards. Actively engages in continuous quality improvement initiatives within the operating room setting.
