Description

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience required. License: California RN License required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. Must-Have: Extensive experience as an OR RN Circulator in gynecological, general, otolaryngology, urology, plastics/breast, pain management, and robotic surgeries. Description: This position requires the ability to float to different facilities. Candidates should have extensive experience as an OR RN Circulator in GYN, General, OHNS, Uro, Plastics/Breast, Pain, and Robotic surgeries. Experience circulating in ophthalmology is preferred. Scrub experience in at least two areas of specialization is advantageous. Certification as CNOR is a preferred qualification. Candidates should be familiar with a variety of surgical procedures including abdominal and vaginal hysterectomies, laparoscopic procedures, and various types of surgeries involving the eye and plastic surgery. Travel experience is required. The ability to provide care during complex surgical procedures is essential. Further, the role involves working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care. Adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures is mandatory. Flexibility in scheduling and the ability to manage several tasks at once are vital attributes for success in this role. This position may require reassignment to different departments or units based on patient care needs. Candidates should be prepared for additional training modules that may be necessary before starting. The ability to cooperate in an evolving environment is critical for the success of this position.
