Job Opportunity – Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse – Wisconsin

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, 0700-1730, Monday through Friday with weeknight, weekend, and holiday on-call responsibilities. On-call requirements include 1 every 6-8 weekends, 1 weeknight per week (Monday-Thursday), and holidays as operationally needed.

  • Diverse case mix including pediatric OR, ambulatory OR, kidney transplant, and pediatric trauma
  • 32 hours of orientation provided
  • Support from interdisciplinary teams including Respiratory Services and Pharmacy

Requirements:

  • Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in specialty
  • BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
  • PALS certification preferred
  • Pediatric OR, ambulatory OR, and pediatric trauma experience required
  • Kidney transplant experience required
  • Trauma Level I and Level II experience required
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Must pass telemetry examination with strict passing criteria (80% or higher on pediatric exam, 100% identification of lethal rhythms)
  • Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
  • Must reside 50 miles or more from facility location
  • Willingness to float as needed
