Job Opportunity – Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse – Wisconsin

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, 0700-1730, Monday through Friday with weeknight, weekend, and holiday on-call responsibilities. On-call requirements include 1 every 6-8 weekends, 1 weeknight per week (Monday-Thursday), and holidays as operationally needed.

- Diverse case mix including pediatric OR, ambulatory OR, kidney transplant, and pediatric trauma
- 32 hours of orientation provided
- Support from interdisciplinary teams including Respiratory Services and Pharmacy
Requirements:
- Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in specialty
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
- PALS certification preferred
- Pediatric OR, ambulatory OR, and pediatric trauma experience required
- Kidney transplant experience required
- Trauma Level I and Level II experience required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Must pass telemetry examination with strict passing criteria (80% or higher on pediatric exam, 100% identification of lethal rhythms)
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Must reside 50 miles or more from facility location
- Willingness to float as needed
