Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience in a community hospital or Trauma Level 2 facility. License: Valid Registered Nurse license in California. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS. Must-Have: - 2 years of circulating experience in a community hospital setting, including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Spine, Urology, Robotics, OB/GYN (C-sections), and Plastic Surgery. - Experience with conscious sedation monitoring. - Willingness to be on call for overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays, providing 24-hour coverage. Description: This role focuses on delivering high-quality care in the operating room. Candidates will be responsible for circulating in various surgical procedures. Experience in administering conscious sedation and monitoring patients is required. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with gastrointestinal cases. A strong understanding of infection control and safety standards in the operating room is essential. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure. Teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration are integral to this position. This role will involve working with a diverse patient population. Flexibility with scheduling and a commitment to excellent patient care is crucial.
