Locals accepted. First-time candidates are welcome. Schedule includes 5 shifts of 8 hours from 08:00 to 16:30. Call is required 2-3 days per week and every 4-5 weekends. BLS certification is required. A valid nursing license is required. Candidate must have at least 2 years of experience. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable with a broad range of surgical procedures. The facility has a heavy robotic program across multiple specialties. All staff are expected to handle various specialties without set teams. Candidates may need to find coverage if requesting time off that overlaps with call. Special equipment includes advanced robotic systems and specialized surgical tables. Travelers with latex allergies cannot be accommodated. NIHSS certification may be pending but must be completed during compliance. Two supervisor references are required after offer acceptance. Modules will be completed during the initial orientation period. Module time is tracked and will not be billable if completed within the first hours of orientation.
