Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,872 per week in Bridgeport, CT

Local radius restrictions are waived for this assignment. Must start by 12/18/2026. No holiday requests for time off. No more than 5 days of time off requests are allowed. 5x8-hour days from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with shift rotation, weekends, and call required. Call is required and will vary per schedule based on staff availability. Currently, requirements for a 6-week schedule include about 5-6 weekday trauma calls, 1-2 weekend trauma calls, and 1-2 weekend backup calls. The facility is a short-term acute care hospital. Total staffed beds are 426. Charting system used is Epic. The role includes various surgical procedures such as abdominal surgeries, trauma surgeries, and robotic surgeries. Candidates must have experience in trauma care and critical thinking skills. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams. Weekend shifts and call responsibilities will be part of the schedule. Candidate must provide one reference. Modules are completed pre-start and annually, and vary by specialty.
