Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Mid Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of strong operating room experience required. License: Must have a valid nursing license. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Must-Have: Strong orthopedic skills required. Description: Position available for an Operating Room Registered Nurse specializing in Orthopedics. General surgery experience is a secondary requirement. Shifts are 5x8 hours with varying start times. On-call availability is required as needed. Candidates may float within the hospital to meet facility needs. Block scheduling accommodations are possible. Previous experience in a similar specialty is preferred. Candidates must have the capability to scrub a variety of surgeries including general and orthopedic procedures. Charting is done using Epic software. Weekend requirements will be determined based on department needs. Local candidates are welcome to apply. Travel nursing experience is also required.
