Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Monday - Thursday Hours per Shift: 10 hours (8:30 PM - 7:00 AM) Experience: 24 months of current operating room experience required License: Active state nursing license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - 24 months of current operating room experience - Circulating and operating room experience - Experience in general cases, davinci robotics, pediatrics, and trauma - EPIC electronic medical systems experience within the previous 3 years - No first-time travelers, must have completed a travel assignment within the previous 9 months Description: Quickly interviewing viable candidates. Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license. Team members are required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed. The unit handles an average of 35-50 cases per day. Expectation for turnovers is less than 20 minutes. There are 16 operating rooms, running from 12-14 routinely. As a Level 1 trauma center, we reserve space for traumas. Service lines include cardiac, neurology, orthopedics, robotics, gynecology, urology, general, pediatrics, and transplants. Scrub or circulate experience is preferred. Traveler may be required to float across all campuses.
