Must-Have:
- Current operating room experience (hospital/medical center experience preferred)
- Circulating and operating room experience
- Experience in general, davinci robotics, pediatrics, and trauma cases
- EPIC electronic medical systems experience within the previous 3 years
- Trauma Level I experience preferred; Trauma Level II experience required
- Recent completion of a travel assignment within the previous 15 months
Description:
We are seeking qualified candidates for the Operating Room Registered Nurse position.
The role involves working primarily in a fast-paced operating room environment.
Candidates should be familiar with a variety of surgical procedures and technologies.
Experience with case types such as cardiac, neuro, orthopedic trauma, robotics, gynecology, urology, general, pediatrics, and transplants is important.
The operating room typically manages average daily caseloads ranging from 35 to 50 cases.
Expectations for turnover times are less than 20 minutes.
The team utilizes advanced surgical equipment, including 3 Davinci robots and Stealth technology for neuro navigation.
As a Level 1 trauma center, the facility reserves space for emergency traumas.
Travelers will be required to float across multiple campuses.
Weekend call coverage is required from the end of shift on Friday until 6:30 AM on Monday.
Candidates must demonstrate skills in both surgical scrubbing and circulating roles.
