Description:
MUST HAVE oncology surgery experience.
General surgery experience is also required.
Float is required.
Must have at least Level 2 trauma experience; Level 1 is strongly preferred.
Looking for an overall well-rounded RN as they will be working outside of the specialty hired for.
Primarily day shift with possible night shift rotation.
There is a possibility for off-shifting (1-3 shifts in a week) once every 4-week scheduling period.
However, there are times when no off-shifting occurs.
Weeknight call requirements are 1-2 nights per week on average.
Weekend call requirements occur approximately every 4-5 weeks.
Call involves 24 hours on Saturday or Sunday, 1-2 days per month.
Block schedule cannot be accommodated.
Experience with a majority of the following cases is required: Whipple, Esophagectomy, Ex Lap, Bowel resection, Thyroidectomy, Parathyroidectomy, Adrenalectomy-Laparoscopic, Neck dissection, Breast reduction, Stage one and two breast reconstruction, Free Flaps, Mastectomy, Lumpectomy, Sentinel lymph node biopsy, and Melanoma excisions.
DaVinci experience is highly preferred.
Oncology, orthopedic, and neuro experience are highly preferred.

Call-back rate applies only if called back after their shift has ended.
Travelers will only be paid for call-backs when placed on-call after their shift has ended.

All contracts end on Sunday.
The work week is Monday to Sunday.
Travel compliance mandates that first-time travelers are not accepted.
EPIC charting system experience is required.
Requests for time off must be included at the time of submission.
There is no time off during the first week of orientation.
Additional requirements are unit dependent.
Documentation must be submitted by the specified due date.
Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours from accepting the offer.
