Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse who can circulate and scrub for a wide range of surgical procedures.
Candidates should have experience in ophthalmology (cataract, cornea, eye muscle, oculoplastic) and orthopedic surgeries (total shoulder, rotator cuff, ACL, complex knee scopes).
Experience in gynecological surgery (hysteroscopies, D&C) and general surgery (diagnostic laparoscopies) is also required.
Additional skills in colorectal procedures (EUA, hemorrhoids), plastics (breast revisions), ENT (endoscopic sinus surgeries), and cardiac procedures (ICD/pacemaker changes) are preferred.
Experience in the GI lab with scrubbing and circulating for colonoscopies and upper endoscopies is an added bonus.
Day shifts are available from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
There is no call, weekends, or holidays required for this position.
Certification in BLS is mandatory.
Candidates with CNOR certification are preferred but it is not required.
Experience with Epic documentation is necessary.
This position involves working with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
The daily patient census averages 30 visits, with 5 operating rooms available.
The nurse will work alongside interdisciplinary teams, including radiology and unit secretaries.
This role does not require floating, and the patient ratio is generally 1:1.
