Experience:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred preceptorship, charge, and leadership abilities for experienced RNs.
Experienced RNs will possess thorough knowledge of nursing principles.
Ability to provide quality patient care and assess patient's needs, including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual aspects.
Must recognize safety issues to self and others.
Ability to assess and implement the use of lifts to move patients safely.
Must function well in stressful situations and possess good problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate.
May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are required.
Knowledge in using typical clinical equipment in a safe environment.
Lethal dysrhythmia interpretation skills are necessary.
On-call required with a response time of 30 minutes.
License:
Current state RN license.
Certifications:
BLS required.
ACLS preferred.
