# Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Alaska

Start Date: September 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week (weekend availability preferred). Call requirement averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift per 8-week period (approximately 15 call shifts per month). Call frequency varies based on scheduling rotation.

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Highlights:

  • 11 Operating Rooms with 1:1 patient ratios ensuring focused, quality care
  • Diverse case mix including Total Joints, Multi-level Spine Fusions, and Xi Robotic procedures (GYN, Colorectal, General)
  • Specialized experience in Orthopedics, Neuro, and Robotics highly valued
  • Epic EMR system for streamlined clinical documentation
  • Collaborative environment with dedicated OR RNs, Scrub Techs, and Surgical Support Techs
  • Facility-provided scrubs

Requirements:

  • Active Alaska RN license (required for submission)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Experience as circulator required
  • Experience with Orthopedics, Total Joints, Neuro, and Robotic procedures strongly preferred
  • Scrub experience and CNOR certification preferred
  • Ability to serve as patient advocate while providing resource support to the sterile field
