Call responsibilities include 1 to 2 twelve-hour shifts on the weekend and holiday as needed. The daily census is approximately 30 patients with services for various age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The OR team provides support from various interdisciplinary teams including pharmacy and physical therapy. Preferred skills include specific surgical procedures such as hysterectomies and laparoscopic surgeries. Candidates must have completed a minimum of one travel assignment in the past. References from supervisors supporting experience are required. No time off is permitted during the first two weeks of employment. The position requires strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Completion of required compliance modules is expected upon hire.
