Experience: 2+ years of inpatient OR experience, level 1 trauma preferred
License: Active RN license
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Previous permanent staff not eligible to be submitted as travelers
- Scrub experience required
- Competent in at least 5 surgical service areas
Description:
MID - 12-hour shifts with day and night rotation.
Start times of 7 AM for day shift and 7 PM for night shift.
Every 3rd weekend required as needed.
Every other holiday required.
On-call duty is once per schedule.
May float to other operating rooms if needed.
Surgical services include general, gynecology, urology, oral, otolaryngology, bariatrics, orthopedics, neurology, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine.
The operating room is staffed 24/7 with a total of 17 operating rooms.
Candidates should possess a positive attitude and be flexible.
Excellent communication skills are essential.
Preferred experience includes neurology, vascular, and not only scrub experience in general, gynecology, and urology.
