On-call approximately one day every 11 days during the week and one weekend every 11 weeks on a rotating basis. This is a fast-paced Ambulatory Surgical department that has experienced a recent large volume, low acuity expansion of patients. Types of surgeries performed include Total Joint, Orthopedic Spine, Arthroscopic ACL/PCL Repair, and repair of fractures (hip, wrist, etc.). Other surgeries include GYN (not OB) - hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, General Surgery, Robotic da Vinci, MAKO, Globus, Urology laser litho, TURBT, TURP, and Endoscopy. This department does not perform heart, head, pediatric, OB, ENT, or eye surgeries. Plan to hit the ground running.
