The nurse plans and implements patient and family education. The nurse is responsible for assessing the needs and initiating appropriate interventions for patients. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing, Associates degree, or Diploma. Montana Registered Nurse Licensure is required. American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Preferred qualifications include Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification, 1 year of circulating experience, and 1 year of scrub experience. Essential job functions include collecting comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation. The nurse analyzes the assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.
