Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,660 per week in Santa Fe, NM

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Nights – New Mexico

Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Location: New Mexico

Compensation: $90/hour - Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Nights, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM (4 days, 10-hour shifts). Weekend requirement includes 1-2 24-hour weekend call shifts. On-call requirement includes 1-2 call nights per week with charge duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• BLS Certification from AHA (required)
• ACLS Certification from AHA (required)
• Current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served
• Strong communication skills appropriate to developmental age of patients

Responsibilities:

• Obtain and record initial patient assessments and establish care priorities according to patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring intervention
• Develop and implement measurable, individualized plans of care within established nursing standards timeframes
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of facts and patient outcome evaluations
• Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
• Document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs and evaluate plan of care effectiveness
• Perform various Point of Care testing procedures
