Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS - Required ACLS - Preferred Must-Have: Strong orthopedic experience is mandatory. Candidate must have the ability to circulate all orthopedic cases, including arthroscopies and total joints. Description: Seeking an experienced registered nurse specialized in the operating room. Candidates with 2 to 3 years of experience are welcome, including first-time travelers. Familiarity with Epic or Cerner is desirable but not required. Daily case volume is estimated to be around 25 cases. Patient age groups include pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Weekend and weekday call is required. Floating between units is not expected. Holiday rotation will be part of the scheduling. Medication system used is Omnicell. Documentation will be managed using Cerner. Patient diagnoses include general, gynecological, orthopedic (heavy), cystoscopic, ophthalmological, ENT, podiatric, and a small amount of vascular, neuro, and thoracic cases. Strong orthopedic experience is non-negotiable. Candidate will be responsible for circulating all orthopedic cases, which includes arthroscopies and total joint replacements. All other specialties are considered preferred.
