Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,606 per week in Columbus, OH

License: Valid state nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Two years of experience in an Operating Room setting. Willingness to float to other units as needed. Call required. Experience with Epic charting system preferred. Description: Shift options are 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Late days are required. No requests for time off will be approved during designated double holiday periods. Travelers will be scheduled to work either Thanksgiving or Christmas based upon organizational needs. RTO during the week of New Year's is at the manager's discretion. Daily census ranges from 23 to 28 patients. Unit includes interdisciplinary support from various services. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The unit has six beds and six rooms. Candidates should expect to work with various procedures in the operating room, including general and specialty surgeries. All candidates must be made aware of the urgency of completing the fingerprinting process for compliance. Two professional references are required. One must be from a manager or supervisor. Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away for six months or more. Candidates must have education from an accredited nursing program.
