**Exciting Opportunity for an RN in the Main Operating Room - Nights (4x10)**
**Job Description:**
- Join an exceptional team in a dynamic Main Operating Room setting!
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR)
- Shift: Nights, 4x10 (scheduled between 1900-0700)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality patient care.
- Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort.
- Maintain professional accountability for the provision of patient care.
- Respect patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
**Qualifications:**
- Current RN License (eligibility for licensure in Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri)
- Required Certifications: BLS from AHA only
- Must have:
- 2 years of Level 1 or 2 Trauma Experience (Teaching hospital experience preferred)
- Scrub and OR Circulator experience
- Preferred Skillset: Level 1 trauma with extensive experience
**Working Conditions:**
- Stand and walk most of the time on duty.
- Lift and push patients in stretchers and wheelchairs.
- Work in a clean, air-conditioned area.
- Physically capable of pushing, pulling, gripping up to 50 lbs, and minimal kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
